Are there actually people who would try to say Stoner is perfect?

Best options:
Wuthering Heights
The Trial
Sveno’s Conscience
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest
Agape Agape

I would say Wuthering Heights is by no means perfect. Coocoo’s nest though I’d agree with.

I read it because it was rec'd some time ago. It was good enough and the presmise is great. However I found it hard to properly understand there was supposed to be a 'reason' why the people died - I mean, did the guy find the reasons he was looking for, or did he understand something else? At some point it seemed to me that the people died more or less 'in order to be loved' and remembered (that is, from a superior point of view), but perhaps I just didn't get it. Anyway it was a fine read.
