I think I'm becoming addicted to certain areas of booktube. Not to the creature OP posted, mind you. I'm quite picky about the aesthetics too, I won't just go for any old thing. But every once in a while I'll stumble on something that really tickles my fancy. Recently, it was a subtly horse-faced woman (who, admittedly, I am quite attracted to) who mostly reads Stephen King and a thousand other writers who I can only imagine are pale imitations of King. She does completely thoughtless feminist analysis and her ugly, despondent husband occasionally makes an appearance, though this is actually a positive since it helps me imagine how easy it would be for me to convince her to have an affair with me. Or perhaps even better, for her to coerce me into having the affair with her.
