I'm pretty sure those pictures of that random girl are not tybrax but a red herring that we all thought was ty for a while. There was a short period of time during which posting that image in a thread was a guaranteed way to make ty delete all of his/her/its posts in that thread, which is probably why we thought that's who was in the pictures.
Since then, ty denied being female multiple times, then posted a thread basically saying "goodbye cruel world bawww" which made us think he was committing suicide or at least leaving the board.

Then, anagram guy shows up without a tripcode. I haven't seen the deleted post in this thread and I don't trust the accuracy of the "archive," so I'm not convinced that this fool is tybrax.

1. It's a sense of elitism. Like mac/win/linux rage in technology threads
2. /lit/ is almost all men, typically of college age trying to enrich their culture and intellect. That's all fine and good, but there is this overwhelming sense of "there isn't enough time on this earth to read shit so everything must be compiled into a list of god-tier to shit-tier that way we can only ingest the best of the best." This, of course, deprives many of the necessary, truely shitty work on occasion. You do need to read crap every once in a while to appreciate other things.
Basically, elitism is a defense mechanism used by many of our college age white males (not saying it's a bad thing if you are) to filter out bullshit before they have a chance at accidentally reading it. This defense mechanism came with the unfortunate side-effect of an elitist attitude which I will probably be accused of shortly

Why anyone gives a shit about tripfags to the point that threads become more about the /lit/ users than the literature this board is supposedly about.
