I'll admit that I found the old Contra videos a bit comfy, there was basically nothing wrong with those. The new ones are just style over substance rubbish featuring dull arguing with strawman talking heads pulled out of Nick's ass. The magenta lighting and 'aesthetics' (retch) are insufferable and there for the amusement of easily impressed Youtube drones. You can see how airheads like Philosophytube are milking the whole template now.

He harped on Contra's use of characters as a way to mete out discourse far too long. Contra has gone on record stating that the videos where the dialogue ends up unresolved mean she hasn't fully crystallized her opinion on those topics.

Also for some reason, he substituted the catgirl for the glitter beard character when discussing a particular video which makes me think he either glossed over the video on the first watch or didn't bother going over the video again before writing his script.

The ending to his whole 4 part video series had some of the more interesting bits. The fact that he freely admits he can't see how this tension can persist and even grow over time, and desires a swift and righteous conclusion to the alleged horrors of postmodernity was interesting.

He's one of the few right-wingers still worth watching on youtube though, in spite of his staunch resistance to cultivating the messiah complex he keeps trying to ignore.

Once he's back from his hiatus he'll try and build up hype for an internet right-wing focused Catholic schism and/or converting to Eastern Orthodox.

That was more of a general rebuke of all video essayists being worthless to watch, as for whether or not Contra's work can be considered artistic is up for debate. While I'm fairly neutral towards her videos so far I would not go so far as to disregard them as artistic.
