Yeah, I regularly shocked how Little /lit/ actually reads besides the flavour of the month meme books. Especially anglos barely know european classics.

I was thinking about making polish literature general and making it weekly thing, but i doubt it would have more than ten posters. What do you think guys? Is it a good idea? What would you put in the original post in such thread?

For me the entire high school category would be Morrowind’s in-game corpus. Don’t think I read a damn thing else voluntarily.

After suggesting Moby Dick to read in school, my teacher told me it's too long and hard for 11th grade Wirtschaftsgymnasium. Instead we read a 20 pages story by Kleist about some white boy falling in love with a nigger and all dying due to racism. The otehr book was some noname boomer writting about mobbing. And of course "Radikal", yet another boogeyman about the ebil neonazis which supposedly are everywhere.

German teachers are absolute garbage.

>from middle school through college

Honestly, this is a short time of my life that happened a long time ago.

I guess middle school was a lot of Asimov, Bradbury, Clark. Douglas Adams and Pratchett. Also Catch-22.

In highschool I was still into sci-fi and fantasy, but also branched out a little and read some Dickens, Emerson, Shakespeare, and the like.

In college, I realized I never had to take a lit class again and rejoiced. Then I picked up my first Dostoyevsky. Crime and Punishment affected me deeply. I fell into the rabbit hole of Tolstoy, Checkov, Gogol, and Turgenev.

By grad school, I was reading Pynchon and McCarthy, and trying to explain to my fellow stemlords why GR was worth reading.

Then somewhere along the line, I stopped caring and nothing could hold my interest anymore.

Wtf I love democracy now, look how great it is and how well we fonction by passing from scandal to division to partisan party blocking good laws. It actually work so God Damn good. We dont need a sacred version of the nation and people in one single vision. Someone that would not only care for his nation but also has answer to it. The king's race are bound to the nation, how can you cheat when represent them for eternity.
