are there any novels similar to Infinite Jest? I mean, polemic, in the sense that there are two extremes, the ones who love it, the ones who hate it and think DFW is a hack; very long, very "pretentious" but with a lot of humanity and that is lots of fun reading, besides Pynchon's books?
