To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Berserk. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Nietszchean most of the jokes will go over a typical reader's head. There's also Guts's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from existentialist philosophy, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Berserk truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Guts's existential catchphrase "GRIFFITH!!!," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Kentaro Miura's genius wit unfolds itself in their hands. What fools.. how I pity them.

And yes, by the way, i DO have a brand tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

this is a very important question, monsieur, and i am glad you have brought it up. the cartoon uploaded in your picture, i infer from japan, in their civilised postures, set the tone in just the right way. perhaps a little eroll garner too. look at those crossed legs. do you know, monsieur, that sphinx's riddle about legs?

now, i will answer this question for you truthfully, whereas everyone else here has it seems been trying to deceive you with opinions. i do not deal in opinions. i deal in knowledge. i am, monsieur, something very cool, very dark, african: a black woman. out of my head, above the jew-jew lips, curls fine yet strong, and valid, wires of logic. it is with my hair, nicely curled, that i out-philosophise everyone here. i have my nails done regularly and i am seeing three men at the moment: dionysus zagreus, phobos apollo, and orpheus. round my neck there is a pythagorean pendent. the secrets of the purpose of philosophy are guarded by three serpents. if you seek the smell of truth for the sake of knowledge, fuck my cunt....

The Overman is the man who is free of the need to justify life, the bad conscience of convicting life guilty, condemning it, falsifying a story that promises himself something outside of it.

Could anything be less Nietzschean than wanting to be a god, the very thing that Nietzsche tore down as a nihilistic worldview in The Genealogy?

I see it as Griffith shedding morality and leaving it behind, the moment he committed fully to literally sacrificing everything to forever strive upwards, the true abandonment of everything to follow his inborn will and instinct

You're better off reading Nietzsche if you want to learn what the man is about. That said, yes, there's some parts of Berserk that are, and in fact strongly so. There's lines in Thus Spoke Zarathustra that could be applied to scenes from the Golden Age. I wouldn't put it past Miura that he read it considering he was a fan of the Conan the Barbarian movie.

Not all onomatopoeia are like these ones though. These are doubled + some changes. Usually just the vowel. In an always ordered fashion.
