I want to read the Bible cover to cover. I want to read it as a piece of history, a work of philosophy, and a work of literature.
I shudder at the thought of a normal tissue paper Bible like one you would find in a church.
What are some great editions of the holy bible for someone who is serious about reading it as a work of literature?

Also I've got a particular soft spot for Tolle Lege Press' 1599 Geneva Bible, unfortunately it doesn't have the pedigree behind it of other "restorations".
