More like "Myself and I'm Bored"

Pynchon is trash. Cervantes was unoriginal. Fitzgeral's Gatsby was plain and uninteresting (the only good part of it is when he gets shot and even then, the funeral’s fucking boring).
Ulysses is garbage. Nabokov is a poor man's Tolstoy- which was a dumb and unintelligent person himself. Wilde copied Goethe.
Shakespeare isn't even a writer, there are a few of them, all of which are plain..

The Illiad is dragging on for too long. Animal farm and 1984 are pop-tier.
Hmm, let me think. What else?
Céline can't write for shit.
The only non-white decent writer is Muramaki but even he's subpar.
The Greeks are simply overrated in general. So is English literature.

Lolita and Infinite Jest are decent. That's about it. For a poor man’s Tolstoy I guess he’s not that retarded after all.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn are only shock value and have no literary merit.
Crime and Punishment’s characters are unrelistic.
Ernest Hemingway writes like a child.
The Brothers Karamazov is is only trash because Dimitri should’ve been innocent. Feodor cannot write a good novel for the likes of him alone. Even if his life depended on it

I actually enjoyed reading Atlas Shrugged. Ayn Rand is actually a decent read if you get into her. Fountainhead was great as well. Other writers could learn a lot from her.
H.G. Wells doesn’t make any sense. Asimov is trash. Most of genre fiction is garbage anyway.

Honoré de Balzac’s only good piece of writing is Cromwell. That’s about it.
Kafka is fucking mental.
Joseph Conrad couldn’t even write in english.

I can't stand most of these, I'm sorry for having an opinion.

Recently - this. Deconstructionist outdated pomo bullshit. Feels like pandering Black Mirror-tier bullshit with its appeals to screens and such tediously familiar concepts as 'mediation' and metanarrative-critique. Protagonist pretentiously named 'You' ('U', whatever). Shameless attempt to rip off the affectlessness captured far better by the likes of DeLillo or Ballard. Alternate covers even look like the old noughties editions of Ballard novels, with the white background and rainbow theme-type deal. 200 pages long but felt three times that length. Gay overall.

The only Ayn Rand book I respect is <The Romantic Manifest>. I don't agree with 100% of what she says but her critical appreciation of Victor Hugo is excellent, and her points on despair and filth in naturalism are at least good literary criticism.

Rand wrote screenplays before producing her major works of fiction and philosophy. She understands how to dramatize ideas. Some readers assume she's right about all human history simply because she's able to create worlds which represent her views. But there is no compelling reason to believe that only capitalism and selfishness are the best moral options just because Ayn Rand erected a massive quasi-prophetic dystopian model of her opinions in action.

When you think about it dramatizing ideas in fiction boils down to a colossal multi-faceted entertaining Strawman Argument. Ayn Rand certainly did not understand the historical moment of the New Deal or the UK's postwar welfare-state. Neither did she understand the hopes and dreams of poor Russians who fought and died in WW1, then rose up again and died in the Russian Civil War and the Great Patriotic War / WW2. Communism was bad for her personally and it turned out to be bad for almost everybody else as well. But it wasn't an emigre's contempt and hatred that brought about the collapse o the USSR.

If there were ever any true great sign that God has left humanity to perish and that we deserve it, it is that this book was published and became a multimillion selling sensation.
We truly deserve destruction. America should be pillaged and raped dry by the filthiest mongrels the world has to offer. All 300million of us should starve and be crucified for the sin of raising the man who wrote this book. Ernest Cline may honestly be the biblical Antichrist his writing is that bad.

My belief in a better society or better world was forever shattered by this book. Now I see humans not as humans but simply as sick little diseased monsters in need of mercy killing. We are all doomed for this.

Data from early studies of DMT suggested that DMT may be a schizotoxin, and various authors hypothesized that DMT was a key factor in causing schizophrenia (Osmond and Smythies, 1952; Gillin et al., 1976, reviewed by Szara 2007). This hypothesis is no longer accepted, but it is still thought that DMT may play a role in psychotic symptoms (Daumann et al., 2010; Warren et al., 2012). Similarly, DMT was thought to be neurotoxic, but more recent research suggests that DMT may actually be neuroprotective (Frecska et al., 2013).
