I just can't figure out why whites in those countries are so atheistic. They deserve Islam. They've rejected reason so now they're going to made to submit.

Because their national church is in apostasy.

They're in the broad spectrum of Deep Ecology, i.e. that recycling, changing consumer habits etc is shallow stuff that won't fix the real issues, and that deeper issues with the way society is structured need to be address for meaningful change to occur.

With Uncle Ted, his main thesis is that the rise of technology in industrialised society has led to a class of social illnesses occuring, which he refers to this as 'leftism', and his analysis of what would become the modern left is pretty prophetic. Ultimately his work suggests that technological progress is at the root cause of environmental (and social) disasters.

Ultimately I disagree with Ted's conclusion that collapsing industrialised society is the only way forward for humanity (he himself says he doesn't know how to stop humans from regaining the technology), but ultimately Industrial Society and Its Future is a fascinating read on environmentalism that is not exactly Greenpeace-approved.

With Pentti, his main thing is overpopulation, i.e. that the fundamental issue is not consumption habits or industrialised society, but simply that there are too many people consuming too many resources, and speciifcally that the population growth is in areas of the world where people dgaf about the environment. This is combined with other social factors to cause a the current environmental crisis. He is essentially arguing for massive population reduction to save the environment, this would be achieved through, for example, stopping aid to Africa.

i never understood the logic of those who prefer preserving nature's life above human life but still cry about humans ruining nature.
nature is in constant succession and the worst humans could do is destroy themselves along a few inferior species but nonetheless life would still spring back in the form of a better, superior and different species perhaps even superior humanoids.
not even a total nuclear annihilation, sudden 20 degrees Celsius increase in temperature, ice age, meteor, solar blast, etc would destroy life because it would still come back from the depths of the ocean to evolve into a different better adapted creatures.

Education is strongly negatively correlated with religious beleif
The US is not even close to the most well funded educational system, and besides, they tie it to property taxes, so people born it poor areas and the Bible belt get shit schools too

>> No.13917763

I don't think you know what the hell you're talking about. Schools are funded by the state and federal governments but even if they were funded by local neighborhoods that doesn't change the fact that the entire country as a whole spends more per student than anyone else. Don't you think that what is being taught matters more than funding? You can pull up all the charts you want correlating education with irreligiosity but they're garbage because they're made in very selective ways.
