I don't. I only watched a few videos of it along a few screenshots.
My friend recommended me the book.

Should I read it? It seems long and I don't know if it's good /lit/.

Your friend is an idiot. The Planescape novelization is almost textbook on how to NOT write a piece of prose. It's unbelievably bad and is a prime example of why editors are employed in the business.

Depends. Is one's "nature" how one acts, or how one WANTS to act? The answer depends on the interpretation. "A sharp blow to the head" is correct on both fronts, but it's rather less romantic than I think they were going for.

"Belief" was actually a pretty good answer. Beliefs warp your way of thinking, and then change how you act.

Overall there are loads of correct answers, which was rather the point. It's not about finding THE correct one, it's about finding an answer that's meaningful to you and which you can use to become a better person.

I'd listen to Noah Gervais's analysis, I think he covers most of what's in PT that's worth experiencing.

>Is one's "nature" how one acts, or how one WANTS to act?

The second part sounds like repressed desires which are probably more part of someone's nature. It's possible that someone might not act on their desire for societal/cultural/religious or any number of reasons or because they have a stronger counterbalancing desire which also could be innate.

How one acts is based off of nature and molded to fit into society. So technically someone's true nature is what's underneath, but practically I think how someone actually acts is more important.

Belief is the sole answer actually, considering the metaphysical qualities of the planescape multiverse, and the fact that it is a compatible answer with "nothing" which is also equally valid.
Believing that nothing can change the nature of the man equalls believing that love, tragedy, regret and the like may also change it. Belief is a fundamental driving force at the core of it all.

To add onto this
>If there is anything I have learned in my travels across the Planes, it is that many things may change the nature of a man. Whether regret, or love, or revenge or fear - whatever you believe can change the nature of a man, can. I’ve seen belief move cities, make men stave off death, and turn an evil hag's heart half-circle. This entire Fortress has been constructed from belief. Belief damned a woman, whose heart clung to the hope that another loved her when he did not. Once, it made a man seek immortality and achieve it. And it has made a posturing spirit think it is something more than a part of me.

Man's nature is the product of the environment he interacts with.
The environment is constantly changing.
Therefore man's nature is in a continuous state of change.
