You must be dedicated to finishing it. It is a long fucking haul. If you lost interest halfway through you're fucked. There's so many characters and such a complex world that you can't just pick it up and get back into it.

I got busy and stopped 1/3 through the 7th book. My friend had the same thing happen. Attempting to get back into it=my brain is full of fuck.

From what I can gather the books take a dip in quality around 7-10. So strap in.

It is rather enthralling when you get into it. I found myself wanting to keep reading. When I finished a book I went and got the next one as soon as possible.

the character is not a bitch, but a lot of the readership thinks she is. she's written as someone who's ridiculously hot, but also smart and cunning; she's the ruler of a very small nation and uses her hotness, essentially, for political power to protect her country. she's diligent, responsible, and intelligent. unfortunately she spends several books trying to seduce one of the main characters, who is married, and basically causing a whole bunch of shitty trouble, so everyone hates her

See the thing is that she's not. The reason there's so much crazy bullshit between her and Perrin is because Perrin can smell her emotions. If he couldn't, everything would be fine. From her perspective, she's a dutiful wife who's supporting her husband, not causing any problems. Perrin can tell when she's angry with him, and can't figure out why she is. But the thing is that even when she's angry with him, she's willing to just roll with it and support him, you know?

Does she deserve for this to happen to her, though? Does the magic in the books allow for this sort of thing to happen?

Somebody needs to take a little bit of time and just write a few juicy paragraphs detailing her transformation and what one must assume to be a very explosive demise. Poor woman is pressurized in there, after all. And considering her prized beauty, her fall from grace and eventual submission would be tantalizing.
