Let me clarify. My point was that she was emotionally on my level, as a girl, at the time I read her diary; she worried about boys, about her clothes, about her friends. I was just trying to explain why her diary was more poignant to me. There was a girl who was like me in every single way, and I got to see how she coped in a terrible situation.
