I don't read a book if I didn't wake up naturally on that day. I do my best to keep the book intact; no scratches, folds, dirty etc.
It's autism.

I read on all my classes, I half listen to what my professors are saying but mostly just read on my kindle.
I am not subtle either I will do it right there in front of them in the front row if I don't find a better seat for w/e reason.
The funny thing is that most of my professors actually like me and I have a hard time figuring out why.

Heh, reminds me of that time when I was going back home on a subway train. I was sitting in front of this literal incarnation of the virgin in the virgin & chad meme (he had the same hairstyle and glasses) reading what could only be Parmenides by Plato. A little more careful look and I realized that a black guy next to him was constantly looking at him and the book and the virgin was obviously getting nervous as he was visibly unnerved by the fact that the black guy was staring at him and having this weird ass smile while looking at him. All of a sudden the black guy breaks the silence and asks, after minutes of pure autistic staring, "ay yo nigga u a intellectual?".
Everybody on the train looked at them since the black guy had literally no sense of how loud he was. The virgin looked around and he started visibly sweating, his lips dancing up and down. He looked onto his chest and said, that I barely managed to catch, "m-maybe..."
The black guy then tried to mumble something about Plato but he was unable to as he was literally laughing like a fucking monkey on the train, I'm not even sure if it was something about Plato as I couldn't hear because of his giggling while he tried to speak.
The virgin just opened his mouth like he was in pure shock and the black guy seems to have realized the harm he had done to that poor "just trying to read some basic philosophy" guy and immediately left on the next stop... it was obvious that this wasn't his originally planned stop. The virgin left on the next one. Everybody on the train was talking about what the hell just happened. Jesus.
