>From the failed 1848 revolutions untill the 1860's Marx thought an industrial crisis would cause a revolution in France
The revolution and the crisis never occurred and Marx was subjected to ridicule by his peers.
>Marx thought the recession in 1857 would lead to a revolution
It never did.
>Engels thought a crisis would lead a revolution in England by 1886
A revolution never happened and the economy in Britian recovered by 1888.
>Marx thought Capitalism had the long run tendency to keep real wages at a subsistence level
In reality, real wages have gone up in the long run.
>Marx thought workers' plight would lead to Communism
In reality, modern day plight of workers has not led to a renewed interest in Communism.
>Marx thought Capitalism had the long-run tendency to decrease the rate of profit
In reality, the rate of profit has not decreased.

There's no reason to think productivity should rise with earnings because productivity can rise purely from technological advances which don't necessarily require harder or more skilled work that result higher earnings. If we suppose that a carpenter can make 10 dollars an hour building and selling chairs and then somebody comes along and invents an automated chair making machine, the earnings gained from selling individual chairs is going to go down even though productivity or the amount of chairs being made goes up.

Nothing is ever going to happen, OP. The woman who began the whole Panama Papers thing was murdered and no one gave a shit. The Bourgeoisie (with a capital B, not the owner of the bakery down the street) are untouchable. They can do whatever they want and no amount of proselytising to the proles is going to make them stop it.

It rose with the massive destruction of capital throughout the great depression and the second world war, and it has been steadily falling since then. This is 100% consistent with Marx.

>>13621916
Another confirmation of Marx's predictions. Marx said that, in the circumstances of rapid accumulation of capital, real wages would go up in absolute terms and fall in relative terms (that is compared with the revenue of the capitalists).
>If capital grows rapidly, wages may rise, but the profit of capital rises disproportionately faster. The material position of the worker has improved, but at the cost of his social position. The social chasm that separates him from the capitalist has widened.

I think you mean white blood cells, and it's ironic because in the case of Leukemia, cancer cells result in an overproduction of white blood cells which in turn prevent the creation of red blood cells in the marrow, speeding up the death of the patient.

No, you're still not getting it. You positioned leftypol in the position of white blood cells (erroneously saying red blood cells because you're a pinhead) and /pol/ in the position of cancer cells. In this situation, just as the person you were replying to correctly stated, these are both things contributing towards the death of the patient. Please leave.

Yeah socialism has never been more dead. Labour movements are neutered or nonexistent, before they were unobfuscated and a force to be reckoned with. It's not possible to be seriously socialist today anyway because you will get raped by inane social 'issues' that don't allow you to be realistic or hold any power for real change. Your 'change', at best, is changing curriculums to make new gens more servile to liberals and weakminded. That is their design after all. In my country liberal policies and privatisation, in the explicitly negative sense (terrible economic management operating on an overall loss that also compromises healthy society and national sovereignty) are the norm.

>It rose with the massive destruction of capital throughout the great depression and the second world war, and it has been steadily falling since then.
Not even close. The reason for the abnormally high rate of profit after WWII is because massive government interventions to stop wages from rising, price inflation, and the huge demand for war material and other output during the war.
>Another confirmation of Marx's predictions. Marx said that, in the circumstances of rapid accumulation of capital, real wages would go up in absolute terms and fall in relative terms (that is compared with the revenue of the capitalists).
Well, no shit. When there's prosperity there are usually high profits and high wages.

>>13623696
I donno what exactly Marx said. Some standard of living goes up but capitalism prefers a girthy ring of middle class men to protect them from the anti-capitalists, but always a poor and homeless class to keep wages mostly stagnant. Now, after the labor surplus, more than ever. Seems like they want most of that middle class dead. Hence the rise of socialism
