When /lit/ first started, I would post oc all the time from rare books in my collection. Those threads were pretty much always ignored, in favor of discussing the same dozen or so authors so I gave it up. I buy and sell books so I often get interesting things but no one fucking cares, all they want to do here is make wishlist threads, troll, and circle jerk about a very small number of authors. ZWG was the best thing to come out of /lit/ IMO but it died too. It's a shame really, but the state of this board is exactly how it's users would have it.
