just got a job as software developer. algorithms & datastructures is of course a core compsci class i have done in uni already but i just wanna get into the problemsolving mindset and way the book teaches is really good because it doesnt just teach common algorithms to use but the underlying priniples of how to design efficient algorithms.
i didnt didnt finish my degree because im a depressed idiot but still got the job so i guess preparing a bit before i start on the first is my way of coping with imposter syndrome

Yes. I like it more than the movie, it gets really trippy and spiritual at the end. The movie made Roy much more interesting, but they're so different i'd say Blade Runner is it's own thing. The book had some interesting characters that weren't in the movie.

It was a fun read, delineates some issues we already know of in a slightly different way while mixing hilarious quips into a bleak, defeatist worldview. The ending was absolutely /comfy/ too. It's pretty short so it doesn't really get too repetitive and it doesn't lose in essence.

Last book: Theories of Nationalism: A Critical Introduction by Umut Ozkirimli
Current book: Catch-22 (book club)
Next book: War and Peace (want something to keep me occupied for a sustained period of time)
I've been keeping with a regiment of writing an essay/short story every time I finish a book -- and before I start a new one -- which has motivated me to write more but also to finally tackle those long books I've been putting off for so long to give me enough time to think of something to write about. I highly recommend it bros, it gives you such a sense of accomplishment from actually producing something in an orderly manner and gives you enough time to really reflect on a book before jumping right into a new one
