That's what most people who criticize incels don't realize. Sure, a few are overt misogynists and a couple had shot a few people, but involuntary celibacy is a mass phenomenom that will increase as every intermediary institution between the individual and the market, be it churches, clubs or neighborhood associations, are eroded.

It's a pity that the term was hijacked (or throw upon by an hostile media) towards meaning only a handful of extremely angry online guys. Most guys who currently experience involuntary celibacy doesn't even know about the term.

We, as males, focus a lot on our problems, but for women sexual liberation and the development of an efficient and universal sexual market through dating apps like Tinder has been a boon. If we consider that 20% of men benefit from Tinder, and 100% of women, it's a majority of global population being happier, so even if 80% of males are getting a worse deal and we are among them, I can't see us changing much, at least through society. Technology is another matter, I put all my hopes on sexbots and virtual reality.
