Yes, but I still have to buy some books because the libraries don't have everything, and I don't want to pirate e-books because I told want to risk getting caught and having to pay a $40 million fine then go to prison for 40 years and then get raped and have to pay $40 million for asshole reconstruction surgery.

>reading at the library is a more effective learning strategy than attending a post-secondary school
>Ah yes because simply reading books is equivalent to asking the professor questions, spending hours each week listening to an expert on the topic lecture to you, doing assignments, getting feedback on assignments, being motivated to learn in an intellectually stimulating environment, discussing/competing/growing with likeminded (and otherwise) peers who are approximately at your skill level, and having access to university resources/events/clubs/workshops.

I do not think that tuition fees in North America are reasonable, but I also think that mindsets like that of OP's image reduce the entire university experience to a mental data dump. Yes I am aware that of the points listed above, it is improbable that any of us will experience all of them all the time. But if even one or two of them are true, then it is already better than sitting and reading a book by yourself in the library. Inb4 seething wagecuck or whatever you want to call me, i'm not defending criminally high tuition fees, I am trying to call to attention that there is more to learning than just absorbing information from books. It truly is characteristic of the /lit/ pseud to think that reading a book is the same as true comprehension.
