Here it is! It took for freaking ever to format, link, and clean up. To my knowledge it is the only free properly formated translation of Metaphysics for e-readers!

It is in .prc format, which is read natively by Kindles, it can be converted to other formats with Calibre, of course.

I opted to include every part of every book in the table of contents for ease of use, so yes, there are a few pages of contents, but I didn't think anyone would complain.

Enjoy it!

Sweet. Thank you so much for this. Have you got an ETA on the big torrent?

Well, this is the end of my Thanksgiving break, I've been working on it all break, but next week is tests then finals. I have a 7 page research paper on Swift due Tuesday, if I get all of it done in time and my studying for my health related classes,....

Ok rant off, It might be 2 weeks, or 3, or 4, depending on if I can find most of the works in a format thats easier to convert than this one was.

So many factors, but I do enjoy doing this, so I will be working on it as much as possible.

>> No.1313115

Also, I'm only releasing the ones that I've had to make into proper e-book format, any of the others in the list that are easy to find I do not release, just figured these should be out there in the mean time.

care to share it ? not in the philo package ofc, but with all the efforts you showcased and your seemingly mature / eloquent persona, it would be interesting

Thats the sad thing, it has not even been typed yet. I have an outline and all my sources, but with thanksgiving and my wanting to finish Metaphysics well...

I have to write it tonight, it's due Tuesday... if I deem it respectable I'll up it! haha.

I'm sorry, I don't know, my main purpose was to format them for e-book readers. I know some cel phones natively support .prc.

Thanks for this, fuck the haters :)

>> No.1313964

Gotta love people begging for this then only 3 people comment, thanks op.

OP, I have downloaded.
You, my friend, are a god.
This is when I wish people had monikers so I could remember them and so lit would be more community-based. Oh well.
Thanks once again. I'm putting it on my Kobo.

Yes, I own a Kobo and not a Kindle. :(!

gregors you are a hero, props to the guys sucking your dick here. This is a praise you deserve and you need, imho, for you are not treated with the respect and gratitude you deserve, considering this is free, quality work of encyclopeding. You're the jimmy wales of wikipedia, only better.

Thank you Greg

Nice work on this. Knowing Aristotle, it probably took you more hours to format this correctly than it did for him to write it.

Thanks guys! It's a labor of love really, and your words inspire me with more vigor to get the work done!
>>1316203
Well, seeing as how the teacher has told us exactly how to write it, with no room for creativity, leaving a complete outline and thesis with how long each topic of each word in the outline is...

I've decided to put it off. I can write a 4 page paper in 1 hour, so my confidence in writing a 7 page research paper that has the research done for me, as well as every body paragraph, is very high.

I'd love it more if she had just given us an author and let us run with it. I'd much rather write about Swift's "A Tale of a Tub", instead of "A Modest Proposal", which has been done many times.

Welcome! I'll be releasing another work I love tonight, The Essence of Christianity by Feuerbach, really interesting stuff on prayer in one chapter.
