Many ways my beliefs and values didn't even change, how I expressed them just changed with new insights and information. What I really learn from remembering was, I shouldn't box my self by trying to be something, not to be something. When I was 17 I browsed /pol/ for the first time. I was nationalist, influenced by people like Ramzpaul. I also followed sites like Amren. I tried to convert friends to this ideology and managed one but the other held tightly to his libertarian beliefs. It wasn't until 2015 I realized how flawed and cringy this ideology was. Seriously, those amren convention vids are a cringefest and I can't imagine what they're like in person. I am still partly traditionalist but believe in more of a civic nationalism with restrictions.

I remember being a traditionalist for a while, but I didn't give it up for leftism or something. I just became completely blackpilled and gave up hope in everything. Even in a traditionalist society I'd be just as alienated, unhappy, and alone. No ideology can fix me or make me able to have relationships with other people. Democracy works by rapidly changing out politicians and parties as a way of "venting" the frustration and anger that naturally builds form the system fucking its ruled populace. Back here after taking a break from internet communities for a while, no ideology, just moral relativism/pragmatism, still holding onto pseudo-religious beliefs as much as I can.

Feels like I've grown up for the most part, although maybe I'll look back at myself now and think I wasn't any wiser than before.
