Why hasn’t a major book publishing company come out and made a series of philosophical classics, like Kant’s Critiques, Hegel’s work, Locke’s work, Hume’s work, Plato’s work, Aristotle’s work, etc available for a cheap price and in good condition? All philosophy books are either made from a shitty press (Penguin) or expensive as shit.

Barnes and Noble (USA book retailers) publishes their own sets of philosophy classics, but the intro and endnotes are both pretty mediocre in what I have, and I would only recommend the versions since they're cheap and available (and so good for gift-giving/marking up).
