What the fuck, guys? All of you insisted that none of the books after Speaker for the Dead were any good.

Well I just finished Xenocide and it fucking rocked. I think it might've even been better than Speaker for the Dead.

What the fuck man? Why did so many of you tell me this one sucked?

Xenocide's failure is that it's nothing special, and that's magnified because it directly follows two God tier sci-fi books. Children of the Mind is where the series becomes complete shit.

I didn't think Xenocide was that bad. What killed it was dozens of pages that were merely people discussing pseudoscience. If Card would have cut out most of the philote crap it would have been much better.

Try Speaker for the Dead. Much, much better in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Ender's Game, but it was really just a "fun" read.
