Why does /lit/ rate Dostoevsky so highly even though he routinely attacks Catholicism? Don't most of you pretend to be Catholic?

Criticism should ideally make catholicism stronger and better, being able to handle critique is better than sperging out like a bunch of muslims. This is true for everything, Stoicism was refined a lot by it's sceptic critics for example.
