You might try The Hedgehog and the Fog, or the films of Miklós Jancsó (which are Hungarian, not Russian).

Things I disagree with:
- Deathly Hollows trolololol
- About a Boy - was a shit book
- The Devil Wears Prada - shit book
- Alice in Wonderland - excellent film
- Curious Case of Benjamin Button - fantastic short story, rather not so good film

Also, you're missing Wild, which was a good book to a good film.

Overrated 80s shit, Had a cool setting but nothing more than a shitty romance action flick. Very disappointed. Twilight for girls of the 80s.

I actually enjoyed the book a lot more than I thought I would. Hated the movie, but Meryl Streep is still awesome. So I guess I agree with you.

Pic related, the only reason this movie sold tickets. Blade Runner is a piece of shit movie that, at best, your mum might get nostalgic over.

Have you ever witnessed decent acting? There was none there whatsoever. Being Dutch & acting like the bogey-man novelty aside....

If only there weren't all that Marilyn Manson non-sense. I dislike Rammstein but it fit there.

Nothing can top Mulholland Dr. though.

I mean I loved it in the sense that it was incredibly intense and interesting in its portrayal of the Cambodian Civil War and the subsequent takeover by the KR, and suprisingly touching in its depiction of the relationship between the two main characters, making for a very engaging experience.

Now that you mention it though, the ending does give it a bit of a "feel-good" vibe.

I wanted to die after I watched it. At the same time I read The Stone Princess. I could hardly look at my Cambodian boss without wanting to tell him "it's all gonna be alright".
