12916374 No.12916374 [Reply] [Original]

>Was the first to formulate the rules of logic
>Invented the scientific method
>Founded the field of biology
>Came up with the theory of evolution
>Was unsurpassed in the fields of politics, ethics, theology, metaphysics, aesthetics, logic and many more things until the Renaissance
>The whole worldview of western Civilization was based on his thought for 1500 years
>The rediscovery of his writings sparked an exponential trajectory of the empirical sciences and human development
All while being surrounded by illiterate savages and even without access to books.
This man, of any human, was the closest to having a four digit IQ and is definitely in the top three most influential people of all time (and Christ, who is one of his competitors, would probably be forgotten to this day if his followers weren't hanging onto Aristotle's coattails)
Why haven't you read the complete works of Aristotle yet Anon?

>> No.12917291

And you forgot to mention that he was only brought into the "Western" conceptual abstract mind only due to the muslims who already incorporated his ideas into their theology jej

Christianity wasn't aristotelian until Aquinas, it was platonic
Stoics passed him in logic
Empiricism is trash and Aquinas adoption of him presupposes the fall of christianity to pluralistic debauchery

Wasn't Aristotle educated by Plato and Socrates? How can you say he was surrounded by savages?

Aristotle and Plato were colleagues.
