The Commedia is great, all of it. I like the Paradiso less, but that's just me. My favorite part of the experience is just Dante's weirdness, ego, and obsessive affections/hatreds. He puts the pope in hell, has his favorite author be his personal guide, and makes his oneitis a divine being
