Reddit spacing is when people leave a line break between a reply and theirs, or a greentext and a non-greentext line.

It's not just leaving breaks between paragraphs, that's just proper formating and is usually called "reddit spacing" by new friends who want to fit in and don't know anything about "board culture".

I can't really be bothered to explain it in detail, but it's kind of a reflex frequent reddit posters have because of the way posts are on reddit.
