Only Anabasis, which I would recommend. The Warriors book is meant to have less fights and more rape, more of an exploration of the roots of masculinity and such. It's pretty short so I guess it wouldn't hurt checking out.

Is there any better example of medicore writing being turned into phenomenal films than Kelly Reichardt's adaptations of Jon Raymond stories?

Raymond is an extremely middle of the road writer, but both Old Joy and especially Wendy and Lucy are absolute masterpieces.
