At the moment this question is asked, the philosopher trembles and shakes in sweat and say "b-but y-you can't know nuffin man..."
Why does this kills the philosopher? Why do people even bother with philosophy, in our current age, when philosophy is 100% subservient to any STEM discovery? Are all philosophers just charlatans who were bad at high school math? What are some books for this feel?

No philosopher would deny you need evidence to back up (empirical) claims. But there are more questions to ask than just empirical ones. Empiricism exists as a subset of rationalist epistemology.
