Why should I finish this?

You should keep on reading and then stop in the middle of the night.

If you want to be spoon fed, you’ve chosen the wrong hobby. Books will not magically open themselves up to you just because of your entitlement. Nothing will happen if you stop reading. Literature simply exists, and your choice is whether or not to put in the effort it takes to truly learn.

Don't you wanna reach the end of the night?

Genuinely a good description of the ending.

I finished it, and I'd say it's not worth it. The start is pretty good, but as soon as the war ended the quality dropped, and when he got out of Africa it's just plain shit. I don't know how far you are in, but just stop if you're not feeling it.

If it's plot you're after, then you'll be disappointed. If you want hilarious, occasionally profound, misanthropic diatribes - keep reading. You never know what'll stick with you.

I enjoyed it - if you're not, maybe it's not for you.
