Lem is outdated. It's pop sci fi. He literally wrote in one of his books about spaceship flying into Sagitarius Constellation or something like that (don't remember if it was sagitarius or another but you know what i mean). He's not even the best polish sci fi author. Two best Dukaj books - Lód and Czarne oceany >everything Lem ever wrote and it's not even close.
