I can tell you from personal experience Jordan Peterson and DFW repel woman like the plague. Do NOT read them in public if you want to attract a mate.

Women are always impressed when they see Plato on my bookshelf, and they literally text their friends to say that I read Plato for fun. So I would start there. Remember that normies don't really know any of the people that /lit/ thinks are "Cool", they only know the enormous;y famous names

Thot warning sign books = On the Road, Milan Kundera, Revolutionary Road, Lolita

Figure out if she prefers Tolstoy or Dostoevsky, and you’ll know how to romance her

Figure out if she prefers Jane Eyre or Wuthering Heights, and you’ll know if the sex will be good

Figure out if she prefers Hemingway or Fitzgerald, and you’ll know what kind of men she likes

Don’t have any DFW, Pynchon, or DeLillo in sight, the severity of the offense goes in descending order

You need to have all the major Jane Austen novels on your shelf and well worn, just bend up the spines and fold some corners back here and there. And make sure you memorize the plot summaries and know all the salient quotes.

for every hour you read a book, you could spent a good effort asking out 4 girls or a moderate effort asking out 6 girls. Even if you only have a 5% chance of success (which is abysmal, you probably have more so like 30-40% chance if you pick women that match your level) after 3 hours and about 12 attempts you have around a 47% chance of success. whereas with a book you may increase your chances of success by about 1% for every book you read, and reading an intellectual book, even if only in a shallow fashion, takes like 10 or more fucking hours.

tl;dr stop being a massive fucking pussy
