when under scrutiny it means "the parts of (some traditions) in masculinity that actually cause psychological and physical damage and are obviously harmful such as guys getting fucked up and glassing each other or raping women," which everyone would agree with. but among true believers it applies to anything the user would like, negative or not, while retaining the emotional power of the first definition.

It seems incredibly distasteful to pair cigars and whisky with bacon and eggs. Smoking anything after eating cured foods like bacon doesn't seem good. If you repeated cigar, whiskey bacon combo, I'm sure you'd get ulcers all over your mouth.
