I really recommend Last Podcast On The Left. They talk about spooky and morbid topics. I really like their series on serial killers. They have a way of presenting all the facts while exposing what losers a lot of these serial killers actually are. Far from the bad boys media usually depicts them as.

Surprised people have mentioned History of Rome by Mike Duncan but not his other podcast Revolutions. That was the podcast that got me listening to podcast, and it's extremely detailed and interesting. I find it hard finding other podcasts that are good at explaining things from a macro and micro perspective. He may have spoiled me!

I had never heard of him, just picked it up because Carlyle's book is too hard to follow if you don't already know the timeline of events, historical background, and characters fairly well. I thought watching Rose of Versailles would have been enough background information, who knew.
