Book Thug Nation in Williamsburg. Lots of great literature. When you first walk in there's a table with like $6 Ulysses, $6 Dostoevskys, $6 Moby Dicks, and other legit classics, no bullshit Harry Potter books. Found $1 Homer and Dickens on their outside shelves. They had like 5 copies of the Morrissey Autobiography - more than any other store in NYC combined. Great philosophy and poetry selections. I even found a copy of My Belief by Hesse (a $60 book on Amazon) for like $8 here. The staff is pretty cool. I'm pretty sure they hate hipsters so that's great. They're not up their own ass SJWs "yaaassssss queeeeen a well read woman is a dangerous creature" pieces of shit like Strand and most other bookstores in NYC.

Has to be the worst name for a book store I've seen. How many readers would identify as thugs?

What's so good about it? I've only been there once but it seemed pretty small and normal. Is the staff really cool or something?

I've only recently started to discover all the great used bookstores in Stockholm. Rönnels and Alfa in particular are so cozy.

If any of you boys happen to be in Grass Valley CA, check out "Book Town". This place is a Co-op of 14 different booksellers. So there are 14 different little sectioned areas where you can see that specific person's tastes and interests. So it has the selection of a large bookstore, but it's more like experiencing many small heavily curated stores. It's a store that actually focuses on the exploration of the books, one of the things that is still vastly superior in physical sellers.
