Once you got a deal for book 2 and book 1 became a bestseller, she should have begun constructing a plot arc for the entire series. Easily the biggest let down of the last books was the forced tie-backs to earlier volumes.

Also Harry shouldve died.

Neville Longbottom would have been the hero at the end, since he had all the same marks as the hero was destined to have, dead parents etc. So Harry would have been the sacrificial pawn that Vodermort chased only to be slaughtered by the real hero.

He asked how to save the plot. Harry Potter is a children/young adult series. Still, it wouldve been convincing to have this innocent character forced into martyrdom. My god can you imagine? I almost want to write fan fic on it. He would discover his fate, fight it, resign himself to it at last. He would lash out at God and stab another student in a fit of rage. He would openly shout "hail Voldemort! I give myself to Voldemort!" In the hallways and be physically restrained. He would leave the wizarding world, moving to America, turning his back on all of them. "I didnt ask for this, nor did I create it, and I will not be responsible to it." They will beg him to save him and he will turn away. "I am not your savior. Save yourselves."

And then he would die in a car accident on the way to Heathrow.

As an editor, I am all in for the money.

Entering 5 or 6th book, Harry would have entered some sort of "Chamber Of Secrets" type of Time Chamber following Voldemort there and he would follow Voldemort into the Void

This would break the timeline and 2 types of Harry Potter books would run at the same time "Evil Harry Potter" and "Good Harry Potter"

The whole Harry Potter universe would plunge into some sort of crashing of timelines quantum loop and the series would run in a simultaneous manner for the next 5 books (The readers would only have to read the other book "Evil Harry" or "Good Harry" to keep up with the plot) resulting in final ultimatum in the 11th book were both timelines would be destroyer and 12th book would be an aftermath of the one timeline that remains.

Voldemort being destroyer would also destroy Harry Potter from the world and the 11th/12th book would be a recollection of some distant observer of the events of the previous books. Thus the quantum loop destroyed/fulfilled both Harry and Voldemort would have been banished from both universes and the timeline of both books would have been saved in a sense.
