Nope, I was a bit disappointed after The Handmaid's Tale and never sought anything else by her.

Meh it was okay IMO, not the best book i've read.

I did find her food themed descriptions nauseating though. Like the stillborn scene.

I've only read Oryx and Crake by her, but I thought it was awesome.

I had to read this during the last 4 weeks of senior year. Needless to say I didn't give it all to much thought but it seemed alright. Not great but alright

I'm with you on this OP, I've never thought much of "The Handmaid's Tale".

Having said that, I wouldn't entirely write Atwood off, as I thought "Oryx and Crake" was pretty enjoyable.

It's one book.

It's a sort-of apocalyptic world, all but one original human have died and there's just a genetically altered species left. 'Snowman' basically lives like a monkey rolling in his own shit, envying those others who just think he's weird. It's hard to explain without spoiling it too much.
