The true mark of a pseudointellectual: they own more books than they have read.

Literally anyone who owns books is a pseudointellectual by your standard. I know this is a troll but it's a dumb troll. You haven't "read" the book you are currently reading, so anyone who has ever owned any book is a pseudointellectual at that point.

Imagine putting this much effort into your body and fitness. It's not as if it's entirely unfounded, look at Plato (his advice: workout but study philosophy and poetry for balance), Schopenhauer (get 2 hours of fresh air exercise a day), Jefferson (ibid), and other great minds who vie for exercise. But find a balance. Imagine how many hours of a day this guy dedicates to exercising, dieting, or thinking about exercising and dieting. He's a woman in this sense, spending the majority of his day thinking about how he looks. Like Weininger inherited from Kant and others: anyone who seriously thinks about it must come to this conclusion. Where in this guy's day can he fit serious study? Now, that study wouldn't be necessary if 1) he's living a happy life (anything from a Christian to a Nietzschean sense), 2) he's living a "GOOD" life (let's take the utilitarian sense) or 3) both. Well, though I was ready to concede any possible argument without further knowledge on this guy outside the well-respected-by-serious-thinkers study of physiognmy (see Schopenhauer's essay on the science), I Google image searched this man and it turns out he's a gay pornstar named Arad Winwin. There was something about his clean-cut of his hair and his beard that goes even MORE towards my point of him spending too much time thinking about how he looks. These types of men are the ones so occupied with how they look that how others look takes up half of their time if it doesn't meet up to expectations. Experience, judgment, a year spent working in business, and going out in a big city with a group of friends proves this. Moreover, judging by his videos, this photo is, alas, a good angle. At 3:29 in DOUBLE-FUCKED BY BOOMER & ARAD, you can see the general unflattery of angles and motions, and the ultimate proof that pictures--especially as of late, with women on snapchat while they're travelling--should not be any type of proof for a good looking person, not to mention a GOOD having a HAPPY time. So yes, this guy is a sodomizer who spends every ounce of his free time at gay bars and at gay parties, and if not, then thinking about it--forever chasing the lifestyle only envied by people who do not realize that this man can only enjoy the present moment if the moment is something SEXY. Spend 5 nights going bar-hopping even as the most charismatic, handsome, and lovable individual (I'm thinking Krasinki's Jim Halpert or Paul Rudd in general, or maybe Idris Elba as an archetype), and you will come to this conclusion.

Imagine not reading an entire post but feeling obligated to reply. Imagine not even reading past the first sentence, where a sighting of Plato should have prompted to you that my point was that balance is key, and that those who prioritize fitness over music, literature, and philosophy are overly rash (Republic). Even if I were to try and balance the scales and fight for your favor--something I am prone to do--it's hard, seeing that you can't even grace me with a funny, let alone witty, response. Imagine waking up on a friday, imagining me fat, calling me fat, and then defending yourself in the next post saying you wasted no time typing out a few sentences and that I'm overthinking things. Imagine seriously going through with pressing that enter button, and then thinking about what you're going to eat and being weighed down by such bodily thoughts that Jesus and Epictetus argued against.

>So yes, this guy is a sodomizer who spends every ounce of his free time at gay bars and at gay parties.
Imagine quoting me so out of context that the very next words prove your disproving wrong. "...AND IF NOT, THEN THINKING ABOUT IT." This man does not workout with a purpose of bettering himself and embracing moderation. He works out with the intention of chasing a lifestyle, and that should be clear. In short, he works out to look good and to fuck, and to go to the next party.
>that third quote of mine
I say the caring-about-the looks takes up half of the time, which it does. If we're going to break time down into a minutiae like people who work out perform horribly, even THEN what I am saying is correct. All of the things you're trying to prove me wrong on in no way contradict each other, and by your quoting my quote of Schopenhauer, you're proving your inability to read, because in the beginning--AGAIN--I was stressing that exercise is indeed good, with balance, moderation, and with the conscientiousness that you're living or on the path to a good/happy lifestyle. So please, before anyone responds with the thread-killing "You're showing your autism," consider how well-structured, intented, and right my justified response was.

retard you used schopenhauers 2 hour exercise things as a defense for exercising and since this unimpresive physique of the gay man in the picture requires less than 2 hours of exercise a day how are you gonna critique him you retarded 40 year old
