What were the best books of the year? were there any?
This kind of stuff seems much harder to do because you can check and album in an hour or a comic in a few minutes, those mediums get dozens of "10 best of the year" "30 hidden gems" that you can check for recs. But usually people will read a couple books a month if they're very interested, and even then the backlog is too big to give a chance to random new stuff.
But I'm sure there has to be at least 10 great books worldwide by year. I wanna know what you found, what you heard, and any opinions on this year in literature.
