No, but God knew he was gonna screw over Jesus and sent him anyway. God knew the whole story from day 1.

Judas is a mechanism, the machine would be incomplete without him.

everyone chooses. God does not force things. God does not need to force things, because things (your obstinate free will) force themselves. ergo, if not judas, then greater humanity, because mankind is largely a sinful and perverse collective.

Judas is a useful figure for seeing the arbitariness of judgement. He is condemned for being what he is and doing what he does.

He is a necessary figure.

Free will was a gift to Man.

God didn't give the angels free will.

Let that sink in.

That's not true. Just because God knows what you are going to do does not mean you won't freely choose to do it. You are not predistined to sin, but God knew your sins even before you were born.

Run me through that logic. All our actions are predestined, this is a requirement of an omniscient god. Either the future is certain and can be predicted, or it's uncertain and it can't. Since God is omniscient, it must be certain. Which means you can't do anything outside of what you are going to do. Which means every sin is predetermined. Which means God makes sinners and then punishes them. But why? Not as a warning against sin, since it's impossible not to (unless you were predetermined to never sin, in which case, congratulations on being Jesus). So I guess God does it just because he can, which is fair enough for an omnipotent being who can do what he wants, but don't ask me to pretend he's a fair and just being.

I dunno, God could have had the Romans find Jesus by accident, rather than condemning a man to hell for fulfilling the role God set for him personally.

>That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-
Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-
—Qur'an, sura 4 (An-Nisa)

>Qur'an 3:54—And they (the unbelievers) planned to deceive (Jesus), and Allah planned to deceive (the unbelievers), but Allah is truly the most sublime of deceivers

Your logic is fundamentally flawed. The future is not certain for us, because we live in this world. But the future is certain for God, because he exists outside of time. My theory is that time is merely something of this world, which means that heaven is timeless and eternal. This means that in heaven, the future plays at the same time as the past and the present. This means that God exists in a place where you have already died long ago and have already made all the decisions you are going to make. This means that the future is uncertain and can't be predicted. But this also means that God merely looks back on your future decisions in hindsight. If time works the same way in heaven as it does on earth, you are correct, there can't be free will.
