How do I read a lot of books if I have no money? I'm a NEET and have little money but I love reading though I can barely afford books. Am I going to have to rely on Kindle forever? It kinda sucks.

You do know libraries still exist, right?
>inb4 "umm but eww sweetie, there's homeless people & minorities there"
You don't get to complain about that if you're a NEET. Get a job if you don't like it.

You're gonna have to make do with an e-reader, then. libgen has a good selection of free shit to choose from.

Yeah, it does look like it. It's a shame because, when reading on a Kindle, it just feels slower than reading on print. Also, I usually remember certain passages by memorizing the page number (I do this automatically) so it kinda seems like a waste.

Just buy Plato and Shakespeare's complete works. All philosophy is just footnotes to Plato, and for every fiction trope there's at least one Shakespeare play that can be pointed to as an example of it.
If you want something different, try the Bible, Montaigne's Essays, or some books on art, history, geography, and the natural sciences.

I strongly disagree with this statement made by Alfred North Whitehead. and I don't want to limit myself to only this philosopher.

You don't have a basic computer to hook up your reader to be uploaded with files? Only a reader to download books? You're pretty screwed.

>>12157550
Good! Platonic philosophy has since expired with further exploration of the human psyche, unconscious, and group behaviors.

Yeah I do. I can fucking download all the files of the books, my problem is that fucking reading on a Kindle sucks. That's what I meant. Maybe I just have to get used to it?
