I'm personally a big fan of his more lighter books, with more comedy. So far I've really enjoyed 'Tales of Pirx the pilot', 'More tales of Pirx the pilot' and all the books with Ijon Tichy (The futurological congress, Memoirs of a space traveler, The star diaries etc.). They're mostly collections of shorter adventures the characters go through in space, featuring very likeable characters.

Imagine not being able to easily annotate your books or remember the plot based on what’s physically written where on the book.
Reading isn’t a purely mental activity. Humans need visual as well as tactile stimuli in order to really absorb things, and they remember things bestcwgeb they organize things in a spatial pattern. Anyone who knows anything about memory knows this and if you don’t notice that you absorb less from an e- reader you either lack introspection or are a shallow reader in general.

Eh, you don’t have to take my word for it. If you don’t know how to use your body to make your mind work better then that’s your problem. Idk how to prove to you that books are better for memorizing any more than I know how to prove that drinking caffeine raises your heart rate. If you don’t notice the effects then you’re just not paying attention, and people who pay attention invariably notice it.
