Bachura scandal and other stories is a fun read about life in pre-WW1 Prague from a satirical standpoint. It's pretty much Švejk without Švejk, it shits on Austrian bureaucratic regime and various archetypal characters from that time and place.

It actually got too long and repetitive. I enjoyed it a lot, but was glad when it was over.
