can we get a thread for screenplays? I'm relatively new to them but I just read Chekhovs The Seagull and really enjoyed it, any recommendations?

my bad, I made this right before going to bed.
I've been looking into Ibsen and he seems promising, I'll have to go to the book store.

just completed 'The glass Menagerie's by Toni Morrison, it's set in The Depression period, in St. Louis and deals with a life of a poor tenement-dwelling family, filled with characters who escape from reality, chronically. Overall, it was pretty good desu.

wait, fuck, no. It's by Tennessee Williams, and not by Toni Morrison, my bad.

no worries, I figured you meant that when I searched it up

I also rec Tennessee Williams. It's funny because you can clearly see it's meant to be played and watched, not read - and yet I find it extraordinary to read.
