All I'd like to do is simply lay down in my empty apartment on my bed, stare at the ceiling where some text from a book is, and read until I fall asleep or do something that would require the same amount of effort. And if I'm really, truly lucky, I'll die in my sleep one of these days and be released from this misery.

They were caught lying about when they noticed the attack, saying it was after the bill and after the stock trades at first, and were warned the year before that their security was a joke, but never did anything about it.
They were being investigated for all of this in 2017, and then Mick Mulvaney, who Trump appointed to replace the guy in charge of the investigation, cancelled it. Two execs got fired with no jail time. There are no consequences for this shit, ever, and it is taken advantage of every day. Everyone was angry for two days, then forgot.
