Incorrect. A drag queen applies makeup in such a way that ensures the audience knows they are a man. Drag queens tend to be gay but they are not necessarily dysphoric. Transsexuals are and hope to pass as the opposite sex. The former is performance and the latter is lifestyle, they are worlds apart.

Also, the way that drag queens apply makeup has had a huge effect on the makeup industry at large. Makeup is now bolder and more face-sculpting than it has arguably ever been. Remember, boys are better girls than girls.

what exactly are we disagreeing on then? it's perfectly fine to argue that we don't have the technology to allow you to change your biology, or that you've grown used to it and don't want to change the way you live your life, that's your personal freedom. all I'm saying is that you have no right to impose that will onto the next generation.
We're reaching the point where we're able to genetically manipulate humans to eliminate predispositions toward diseases, and I don't imagine it will be too much longer until we can treat, for instance, gender dysphoria as well. At that point, with people having to actively decide what stats they want their kids to have, the category of transgender will likely disappear from society with a few rare exceptions of attention whore parents whose children will be sure to resent them. And I'm arguing that homosexuality is similar. it doesn't really need to exist for its own sake, there are some disadvantages to it, so when people can choose their kids sexuality they're going to opt for more viable options or have to answer to their kids when they want to know why they have to put up with all of the problems that come with it when they could have avoided all of it.
