Music is the purest form of art and the only medium that will never become obsolete.

Every time I sit down to write I feel like crying knowing that chose the wrong artistic path and instead of learning music I wasted my life on a shitty dead art form that won't even exist in another 50 years.

Certain forms of music are timeless and will outlive us all. However, the vast majority of pop music will be forgotten. It's overly simplistic and driven by hollow aesthetics. Glam metal was inescapably popular back in the 1980s but the people who grew up on it are getting old and modern kids think it's lame. The same shit is going to happen to trap rap and the rest of the trendy garbage.
