Homosexuality is a perversion that confers no benefit. It is detrimental to both the individual and the species.
Books advocating it should be gathered and burned. Sodomites are not welcome on /lit/.

''Non-NPCs'' often mistakenly think they can argue with and change the mind of an NPC, because they themselves can be swayed by well-reasoned arguments backed up by evidence without losing face. Often the NPC’s resolve in their own folly becomes stronger in face of an opponent’s argument. I don’t really believe in the NPC meme though, I just think people invest more time thinking-wise in banality than the average e/lit/ist or well-read 4channer, like personal relationships, status and social order.

>Destroying knowledge no matter how dumb bad or vapid is a bad thing that is only done by people who are unable to argue against it.
It isn't knowledge, it is a corruption of it. Your reasoning for why it should be retained is retard tier
>sure but they also don't get their gayness from books
They receive validation and a voice of reinforcement from books that glorify or advocate sodomy.
>That's how it is supposed to be especially because gayness is not something you learn.
Homosexuality is partly a learned behavior. Men can be conditioned to be aroused at the sight of a penny. In this age of pornography, sexual acceptance such, it is very easy for a child to pickup this behavior. This is why sodomites use a rainbow as their symbol because it's naturally appealing to children. If a child witnesses a Pride parade, it may well be the first time he or see sees, not just sexuality on display but a smorgasbord of it in the most preverse ways. To loosely paraphrase Lenin in an unrelated context, "Get em started while they're young and they'll be hooked for life"

>Homosexuality is partly a learned behavior
ok i have to admit i was too extreme in my statement, i partially agree that you can condition people to act gay but in the majority of the cases people grow out of it, this only gets actually problematic once they start to pump children full of hormones though even then nature tends to win over, you'd just get a suicide
>"Get em started while they're young and they'll be hooked for life"
You are actually right but by your logic we should burn down schools then because that is where they get thought that faggotry is a good thing, again books are not at fault it is the education system that indoctrinates.

>You are in no position to make such a statement.
Why not?
>Fuck no they receive validation and reinforcement from a certain part of the population that advocates for it books have virtually no impact
If books have no impact, then why would it matter if they were gathered and burned? Logic is not your strong suit. Back the original point, books serve to normalize and propagate ideas and can have profound impact on society.
>You are actually right but by your logic we should burn down schools then because that is where they get thought that faggotry is a good thing, again books are not at fault it is the education system that indoctrinates.
Following what was said, the logic would not extend to all schools. There are undesirable schools just as there are undesirable books. That does not make the concept of either bad of themselves.
>fuck off pseud you are just like every other censor before unable to deal with books that espouse ideas that you dislike just like the scum that historically burned the bible just because they could not deal with it like rational human beings.
The fact that you are so heated and upset right now and I remain perfectly calm shows that people are not not rational and hence cannot be dealt with in a rational way. I have done my best to speak with you civilly and list the rationale for why these books should be gathered and burned. You cannot even entertain this position for a moment and go nuts, which is why you resort to ad hominems and obscenities.

Just saying you have done something doesn't make it true and saying that you are somehow in the position to make decisions in the name of humanity is utterly retarded just like with every other book burning in history because your ideas can never lead to a positive outcome.

Confessions of a Mask (semi-biographical story from Mishima where he explores homoeroticism to the extent we're still a bit unsure whether he was really gay or if it was all just a big ruse lmao)
Plato's Symposium (a lot of reasoning on the benefits of homosexuality and why homosexuality is seen as a purer form of love because of the love and respect for your own form -- plus Socrates' drama with Agathon is Alcibiades is top notch comedy gold)
Fingersmith (it's sexual at times but not erotica and it explores the innocence of a first-time lesbian love with the backdrop of a victorian crime story)

Also because I don't know many gay books here's some queer film suggestions that are well worth watching:

Weekend
The Handmaiden (a loose adaptation of Fingersmith but if you like this film - and you almost certainly will - you'll like the book)
Blue is the Warmest Colour (excluding the incredibly graphic sex scenes this has a great gay drama between two young women at its centre that left me feeling a choke in my throat)
Fox and his Friends (german film about a gay guy getting fucked over by his "boyfriend" and their associates, a real tragedy that'll ruin your weekend)
Querelle (same director as Fox and His Friends - gets a lot of flack for being homophobic but Rainer Fassbinder was gay himself so maybe he gets a pass, idk)
Call Me By Your Name (it's a meme at this point but it is beautifully shot, Sufjan Stevens music is gorgeous and Timothee and Armie deliver very good performances. There's not much in narrative, but if you like pretty films where there's some lingering underlying subtext, and that ending/credits sequence is amazing too, but apart from that it's just worth a single watch)
Moonlight (maybe a meme but a really good film nonetheless, black kid struggles to connect with people, comes to realise he's gay and connects with a childhood friend but becomes distant and goes down a life of crime. Has one of the quietest, gentlest and heartfelt endings I've seen in black cinema to be honest)

>That most of all. And I'd add this to the law: As long as the campaign lasts, no one he wants to kiss shall be allowed to refuse, for then, if one of them happens to be in love with another, whether male or female, hell be all the more eager to win the rewards of valor.

I know that pederasty was already in practice, and it may be the only reason why he talks about it, since he sees a purpose in it. I definitely found out that the Symposium isn't as pro-homosexuality as it seems, but that was one article I found.
