Same poster, same guy, literally a jew that comes here to self-promote and always bumps his own threads. You can tell by the low number of participants.
(((Moldbug))) is a Neo-liberal. He hangs out with billionaire Jews for Gods' sake.

If you want the OG guy, read some Joseph DeMaistre. You won't find a more autistic ancien regime guy than him.

You can't just read a few texts. You need to read entire bodies of work and entire authors.
Here is an incomplete roadmap for being as anti-democratic as possible:

Platonism & Neo-Platonism
Pre-"Enlightment" Philosophers/Theologians
Joseph de Maistre
Kant (everything)
Marx
Nietzsche
All of Stalin, some of Lenin
Hitler
Hans Herman Hoppe

>DeMaistre
despite being older, he was more contaminated by some modernism memes than some recent writers

>some modernism memes

Like what?

He's literally the guy who claimed humanity didn't exist, only Frenchman, Italians, Englishman etc did, which is clearly anti-humanist, and he was a Royalist to the teeth and even a Pope-worshipper.

Ya if you are going to be a reactionary then you have to recognize that certain trends in pre-modern thought gave way to the modernity they abhor. Look at Leo Strauss or Alastair Macintyre as these are pretty much genealogies of how we "took the wrong turn." Therefore you can't just go back to the pre-modern DeMaistre can be a bit heavy handed but he attempts to construct a worldview which preserves the value parts of pre-modern philosophy while also responding to the modernist challenge. Therefore, all productive critiques of enlightenment thought are essentially internal critiques that show the liberal system's incompatibility with the basic facts of human existence. Spengler, Marx, and Spencer are great as they take liberalism to its logical conclusion and thereby show its failure. Baudelaire and the later decadents also give you good sense for modern alienation. Expecting to critique liberalism with Aristotle or Plato is nothing but folly, as liberalism was founded in opposition to these systems. Any critique needs to be productive and novel. This also means that you need to be able to articulate an alternative ethical system. Most of the neo-Rx kidies on lit are not up to this latter task,
